Greetings all!
   In preperation for the upcoming S.E.T., I wanted to provide you all
with a Packet Quick Reference.  This will help should you find yourself
needing to connect with any number of important sites.

   If you are packet equipped, you can reach many of these stations simply
by digipeating via the WPXD wide-area digi.  Be aware that on the National
S.E.T.  weekend (Oct 2 & 3) there will likely be any number of users on
the network at the same time and collisions and hidden transmitters will
slow down your connections.

   The point of reference for the following commands is the Ypsi Hamgate
which many of you have user accounts.  You can connect either via RF on
145.76 (connect wb8tkl-4) -or- via the Internet (telnet ampr.nuge.com).


   The first command is how to connect to the destination station.
   Additional commands show how to leave a message.

      You may want to try some of these connections before the S.E.T. so
you will feel comfortable with how to use Packet and Packet BBS's.  Try
sending yourself test messages (s callsign), list the messages (ll 5),
read them back (r msg#), and kill your test messages (k msg#).
