So here it is - a family spread all over the country, yet very much together. Jacquie and Jerry were married 50 years ago, on September 5th, 1948. Their three grown children, with the help, encouragement, and prodding of a pair of daughters-in-law and a grand-daughter, planned and executed a beautiful, fitting celebration for a couple who deserve to know how much they've touched the hearts of everyone they meet.

I just happened to be passing thru the state that week, so I delayed my return in order to be able to attend the party. (This was a real hardship - I was hanging out in the central Sierras - some of the most beautiful country I could ever imagine, and I've seen a lot of it lately!) I had with me a new toy - a digital camera, which made putting these snapshots up on the web amazingly easy.
