Back in the USA!
Adventuring is great, and coming home is sweet.  First priority when reeeturning to the US is sleep.  After a 10.5 hour flight, we discover  that we've arrived about four hours before we took off.  Our body clocks are off by 9 hours, and most of us are suffering some lingering sniffles and respiratory congestion.  I had arranged to recuperate with some friends in Fremont, and friends indeed they are!  Dennis and Victoria Shirley took  me in, fed me, entertained me, and put up with my whacky sleep schedule for two days, until I felt human again, and was able to proceed with my camping adventures. Their latest arrival, Cisco, also kept me entertained.  What a bundle of energy, curiosity, and joy!  I think we all could learn some lessons from a good puppy.  Through Dennis' generosity and patience, I was also able to  upload 450 .jpg images to the web site, so my friends could get a sneak peak at the china/tibet pictures, even before I get any captions written.
